Winton Boulder Matrix Opal

Winton is a small mining town in Queensland, where the Aussie national song
"Waltzing Matilda" was written back in 1895.

This opal is very tight in the tiny fissures of the host ironstone.

Being as the lines are thin, the fire is directional and seems to POP
or corruscate across the surface as you move the stone.

The price of this gear is just too low to publish !!

Obviously, those rods would look good as pendant pieces,
or as center elements to a string of similar beads,
or imagine a pair of earrings !

See these beads at the Boulder Bead Page
